The Greatest Gift of All
Isn't it funny, how much we spend on Christmas year after year after year, hoping to out do the gift we gave last year? It just goes to show how materialistic this nation has become. We want bigger toys to play with, and bigger houses and cars than we know we can afford, and yes I am talking about adults here. This Christmas being unemployed sheds a whole new light on the subject. See I can't go out and buy the things I would love to buy for my precious, loving, selfless, beautiful bride. And you know what? She is just as happy with us being together as a family, a husband and wife, than she is anything of any earthly value. Being unemployed is hard especially at Christmas time, but we plan to make this Christmas very memorable. God has blessed us with so many opportunities to help those around us, and that is where our servants hearts come in. We were so blessed to be able to get one of the ornaments for the children's home this year. God provided so that we could be a blessing to someone else this Christmas. I believe God is working in each of our lives right now, though my faith has tested, I still firmly have been made aware of the provision he has provided thus far and I know Christmas morning with my bride will be one of "The Greatest Gift of All" after "The Gift" of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Give generously, Serve sacrificially and watch how Christmas puts an abundance of joy in your heart.
